CodeRanch to have a minor upgrade tonight

For a very long time CodeRanch has been running on on old version of PostgeSQL. Although this has worked for us for some time, we believe that there are benefits in doing a minor upgrade.

To facilitate this, we will have to take CodeRanch offline for a short while tonight, while we export all the data from the old version of PostgreSQL and import it into the new version of PostgreSQL.

This will hopefully start around 9pm or 10pm ranch time. You can see the current ranch time by scrolling to the bottom of the page - it is listed just above the "Contact Us" details.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

This has now completed, so please let us know if you experience any new problems with the forum software.

The option when searching and selecting "search my posts" doesn't seem to be fully working - it is either not respecting the date range - or - some of my posts haven't been copied across correctly during the migration.

Thanks

Can you give us any more information? An example of a post you think is missing? The forum it was posted in? Anything we can use to try and track this down?

All seems to be working fine now.

By default the search selects to search only in the current forum and for the past 30 days - so I'm guessing I just forgot to put these both to "all" previously

I'm glad it was that simple.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
