I use a Mac.
In Excel (the spreadsheet), I know how to set word-wrap on a cell so that I can type a paragraph into the cell. What'd I like to do is some really crude formatting within a cell - it would be awesome if I could just figure out how to do - what I'm calling - a soft return. That would let me do, for instance, a crude bulleted list within a cell.
Anyone know how or if I can do that?
Thanks!

Eliminate fossil fuel subsidies. (If you're not on the edge, you're taking up too much room.)

Of no help whatsoever:
Question: How can you tell a software manager from a software engineer?
Answer: The manager uses Excel as his compiler.
(OK, it's a slow day.)

har, de, har, har...
But, if I could take only 5 pieces of software with me to the fabled desert island, a good spreadsheet tool would be one of them... hey, that could be a good MD thread!

On Windows I think it's Alt-Enter. Haven't used a Mac for about 15 years, so can't remember the equivalent.
