On my last computer, the adobe pdf reader wanted to update itself regularly, lock up periodically and generally annoy me.
Now that I'm on a fresh computer, I'm hoping that there is something that might be a better fit.
I can see that there are lots of other pdf readers out there. But which one is the least icky?

I found a plug-in for my browser that lets me open pdf stuff in the "google viewer". The plugin is 4k in size. Seems to work.
Neat!
This might be all I need.

Here are two that I use:
Foxit Reader: http://www.foxitsoftware.com/products/reader/
Nitro PDF Reader: http://www.nitroreader.com/
Foxit is my default reader, I especially like the capability to annotate any PDF document. But I keep Acrobat around because I have run into the occasional PDF that only it will read.
