Can i use JAVA the complete reference book 7th edition for OCJP exam preparation ?

for OCJP , best book will be SCJP Study Guide by Kathy Sierra.
you may gain java basic concept from java complete reference.

I have read Khalid mughal long back for SCJP you can refer that and don't forget to take mock exam from whizlabs and other.
