Where does output goes on Mac OS

My applet is producing some output to System.out, how can I see this output in Mac OS? I'm on Safari and Chrome, both of them shows this output NOWHERE. :confused:

Applications->Java Preferences->Advanced->Java Console->Show console
I think you can see your output on the console
