i am able to execute the file at Http://localhost:8080/Test/indexA.jsp.
The location : C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 7.0\webapps\Test\IndexA

please help how to execute of the file location = D:\JSProject\Work\indexB.jsp

As the content of IndexA = IndexB.

thank you and respectfully,

Welcome to the Ranch!

First case you are actually executing a jsp which is installed under a web application called "Test" in Tomcat. The latter is just a file residing in the file system (I assume without the control of a server). So you cannot access that the same way as the other.

Dear Vijitha,

can we set the order for tomcat to refer to our folder preference....instead of using the default folder /.../"webapps"

thank you
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
