Dreamcar: domain objects relationship query.

In the DreamCar assignment, I am confused about some domain objects relationship:

1. Relationship between Request and each Parts.
In the BDM, they show the relationship as (Request)*------*(Brake Discs)
Does that mean, a single request can be made with multiple parts?
Whereas in first use case scenario, they say employee inputs "a" part category and quantity.

2. If the request can contain multiple parts, there would be separate bids for each of the parts.
That means Bid object should be associated with part object. However in BDM, no relation is shown between part and Bid object.
As per BDM defined in assignment, Bid has relationship with Request object which will hold good only if each Request contains a single Part.

Am I thinking in correct direction ?

Though we should assume few things, I am trying to avoid some false assumptions which could be obvious the other way.

Hope this fits the rules of this forum.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
