Hudson/Jenkins Groovy script

Is it possible to cancel a running job via a Groovy script if a condition is met? If so, where can I find an example? I would like to have jobs always check to see other jobs are running and if so, abort. I have to do it with Groovy and not a plug-in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
