Hi,
I am new to JSF2 and also to Eclipse 3.6 IDE. I know netbeans will be good for learning purposes. But eclipse is widely used organization. I went for eclipse IDE. now i am facing a problem about how to go through this IDE for JSF purposes. I have installed and configured Tomcat 7 with Eclipse.
I have also added JSF2 (Mojarra 2.0.3 FCS) from User Library of Eclipse and have manually created JSTL User Library from downloading it from a website.
But i am really finding it difficult to use this.... nor i am able to add derby database and manually create a new database.

I have purchased a Java Server Faces2 - Complete Reference. Its fantastic book. but i need a demonstration tutorial to develop and use IDE with JSF2. can anyone suggest me a website where i can get this content for the latest version.

Hi Gaurav
1. I'm new to JSF too, however I have found many good tutorials online, just google JSf Tutorials.
2. Whats the name and author of the book, I (and others) may find it useful.
3. I'm using Netbeans 7.0, and find there is no mucking around with it, it just does, all respect to eclipse users. It comes with Glassfish.3.1 and JSF, and PrimeFaces 2.2.1 as well as other cool stuff. PrimeFaces is whats bugging me at the moment and I can't seem to get any answers, see my entry.

Anyway would appreciate you respond with name and author of the book.

There are so many good frameworks asssociated with JSF - > ICEFaces, Oracle ADF, PrimeFaces, RichFaces....

I am currently focussing on simple JSF2..because there are many things i need to learn before i got to these technologies....

Please read my post "JSF2 + EJB3 + JPA to perform authentication and authorization" . If you can suggest anything about that...

Can you give me links from where i can learn the concepts.....
