What do you think about the new strategy from oracle.
Dont you think its too costly.

Its interesting to see that i have come across your book, just as i start prep for Level 1.
Whats your advise on how to clear Certification successfully and how much time do you think we need to spend.
Also what are the best resources that we will need.

There are three things we need to consider while taking OCMJEA exams by Oracle's new strategy.

1. Time:
We need to spend at least a week to attend mandatory course. You need to get leave/permission from your employer.

2. Money:
We need to spend 10 times higher than current certification budget.

3. Knowledge and Experience:
I am sure Oracle's training can boost your knowledge and gain more experience prior to taking certification.

If you think in terms of cost, yes Oracle's new strategy is too high and tough for many Java professionals.

You can get answer for other queries in my previous post.
