Or is Oracle's cheapest preperation material for the SCJA $660?
http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/show_desc.redirect?dc=D61796GC10
That's crazy.
Also whats the word on this book? http://www.amazon.com/Certified-Associate-Study-CX-310-019-Certification/dp/0071490035/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1311567686&sr=8-1
I bought it, does anyone know if it will cover everything? and/or what supplements I should get?
Thanks.

I purchased their self study material for the developer exam and my personal opinion is that it was a waste of money. I think getting a a couple of good books is better value for money.
I used the book you posted for the SCJA and found it was very good.

Matt, I am one of the co-authors of the book you listed.
This SCJA study guide provides all of the information you will need to pass the test. Any questions, just post them here as we'll answer them.
Additional resources are listed here: http://www.coderanch.com/how-to/java/ScjaFaq.
I would personally recommend that you pick up Cameron McKenzie's books as well.
Sincerely,
Robert Liguori
