Ajax within Ajax

I have a JSP page which uses ajax to call a servlet which in turn displays a form. Now whenever any changes are made to the data in this form (that was displayed using ajax), I have to save the changes in a particular file, again using ajax. Will this work?

Yeah, finally figured it! it was some silly mistake in the javascript that dint allow the onchange event to fire! Silly me =P
