Registration for SCJD (Step 1 of 2) exam

please i'm trying to regsiter myself for the SCJD assigment exam with my pearsonvue account but i think something is wrong.
Indeed, when i tried to do my registration, i couldn't see de SCJD assignement (step 1 of 2) exam but the Essay exam (Step 2 of 2).
may be i miss something.
How can i register myself an download my assignement exam?

That's weird, because normally the essay exam (step 2 of 2) should be hidden until you have submitted your assignment. So sounds like a bug or maybe a misconfiguration in your account. I would try again and in the meanwhile send an email to oracle (developer-submit_US@oracle.com)

Finally i registered myself sucessfuly for the SCJD (step 1 of 2).

Now how can i downlaod the topic of my assignment exam.

In my PearsonVue account, I saw a button BEGIN EXAM. What does it means? Should I click on in order to download my Assignment?

For now downloaded my assignment using the "BEGIN EXAM" button.

Yes, I think you should click on that button (sounds logical to me), but I downloaded my assignment more than 2 years ago, so my advice might be a bit outdated. Maybe someone else who also enrolled for this certification through Pearson VUE maybe could give some up-to-date directions.

Similar thing happened for me. I purchased the voucher from Oracle website on sat or sun. I could not see OCMJD Step 1 of 2 in Pearson website. So went to Oracle web site to order the voucher. I got voucher number from oracle yesterday (tuesday). Then I went to Pearson web site. I saw OCMJD Step 1 of 2. I added that to cart then applied the voucher which reset the price to $0 (I already paid $300 for the voucher).

After that I begin the exam to download the assignment. Then I paused the exam as there were some directions which said I should do that as this is an assignment.
