This is going to sound dumb, but I want to create four 1 line tables. The 1st Line will contain 3 cells diffrent lengths , the 2nd line will contain 4 cells , the 3rd line wil contain 2 cells and the 4th line will contain 5 cells. The data that these cells contain will come from a database. Most of the data being brought back from the database wil be varchar, so the data for each cell will vary from record to record. I laid out a Format below, didn't copy well, my apologies. Can I use the width command , on each cell ? I read its being depreciated and I should use CSS. I've tried diffrent things and did many searches with no luck. Need some expert help.

XXX XXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXX

XXXXX XXXXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXXXXX

XXXX XXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXX XXXX

Doesn't look particularly tabular to me. I probably wouldn't use tables at all.

If you do, I do not believe that CSS replaces attributes like colspan. But I rarely use tables (except for tables) so I may not be completely on the ball re tables and CSS.
