No Java Icon in the System Tray + Did Java Applet's get Faster? (Java 7)

Why is there no Java icon in the system tray? I personally think it looks a lot better without the "generic" Java system tray icon, but when I do testing, how do I see the system (output)? Did Java Applets get faster? I noticed the sample Applets I went to loaded up SUPER fast.
Thanks,
John Price

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
