Does JBoss prevent multiple instances???

Hi Folks,

it's an issue concerning

JBoss (Microcontainer) [5.1.0.GA (build: SVNTag=JBoss_5_1_0_GA date=200905221634).

Whe're switching from release 4 to 5. Under 4 I defined alternate port sets using:

<mbean code="org.jboss.services.binding.ServiceBindingManager"
name="jboss.system:service=ServiceBindingManager">
<attribute name="ServerName">ports-01</attribute>
<attribute name="StoreURL">${jboss.home.url}/server/ospp_jca/conf/server-bindings.xml</attribute>
<attribute name="StoreFactoryClassName">
org.jboss.services.binding.XMLServicesStoreFactory
</attribute>
</mbean>

in the file jboss-service.xml.

With release 5 I tried

<parameter>${jboss.service.binding.set:ports-01}</parameter>

in file bindings-jboss-beans.xml, which seems to change some ports:

15:16:27,964 INFO [Http11Protocol] Starting Coyote HTTP/1.1 on http-127.0.0.1-8180
15:16:28,182 INFO [AjpProtocol] Starting Coyote AJP/1.3 on ajp-127.0.0.1-8009
15:16:28,182 INFO [ServerImpl] JBoss (Microcontainer) [5.1.0.GA (build: SVNTag=JBoss_5_1_0_GA date=200905221634)] Started in 1m:17s:37ms

Starting the other instance with the default port sets leads to:

15:21:56,471 INFO [Http11Protocol] Initializing Coyote HTTP/1.1 on http-127.0.0.1-8080
15:21:56,471 ERROR [AjpProtocol] Error initializing endpoint
java.net.BindException: Address already in use: JVM_Bind /127.0.0.1:8009
at org.apache.tomcat.util.net.JIoEndpoint.init(JIoEndpoint.java:504)

So how to get the first instance using another port for the Coyote AJP/1.3 ?

Any help wellcome

Matthias
