hello, i want to learn apache poi , so please suggest me that , what is the best source to learn APACHE POI with java.......

The POI web site and its example codes would be natural starting points.

Actually, I have to say that if you go to the Apache POI site at, it isn't at all obvious where you might find any examples. It seems to me that a few years ago there used to be a link to examples from that main page, but now there isn't.

It took me a bit of poking around before I stumbled over a page with examples of how to work with Excel: It has a lot of useful links.

There are similar pages -although less elaborate- for the other API parts (HWPF/XWPF, HSLF etc.)
