struts 1.3.5 : EL not evaluated anymore

Hi,

I've just upgraded to the brand new & shiny struts 1.3.5 and I've got some issues...
A good example says it all :

outputs :

a = 4
${pageContext.request.remoteUser} ${test}

when it should have oviously outputted something more like :

a = 4
TheLoggedUser test

Anyone's got the same issue? Basically I've used the struts-1.3.5 blank webapp and added few lines here and there, but nothing that would break the EL.

Thanks to anyone having a suggestion/solution/explaination to give!

Ok, fixed.

The old DTD in the web.xml should be changed to
<web-app xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee web-app_2_4.xsd" version="2.4">

If you're using Servlet 2.4, that also means you're using JSP 2.0. With JSP 2.0, you can place EL expressions anywhere in the document, so the <cut> tag is unnecessary.
