Hi,

Is there a way to add javadoc comments using Eclipse Helios to an entire .java file that does not contain any javadoc comments?

Thanks,

Lou

This capability is not built into Eclipse. Maybe someone knows of a plugin that will do this. But all you would really get is empty comment blocks which you would have to manually add the comment text to so I don't see the benefit, especially since the most you have to type is "/**<return>" at which point Eclipse creates the comment block skeleton for you.

Thank you Peter!

After my post I found JAutodoc.

It inserts javadoc comments like you stated, but also includes the constructor, method, and parameter names, plus some helpful features like building Ant scriptsl
