The JavaRanch rule about having a first and last name in your profile is not optional. Please make sure the "publicly displayed name" in your profile meets the JavaRanch naming policy.

Also, this forum is dedicated to questions and discussions about Jakarta Struts. Questions about java in general should be asked in the Java in General (beginner) forum.

A couple of more suggestions:

1-Make the subject line more descriptive of the actual question. "Core Java" doesn't tell us anything about what your question is.

2-Please restrict a single post to one or two related questions. If you have questions that are entirely unrelated to each other, please post them in separate threads, and possibly in separate forums.

Please don't take offense at these suggestions. Your questions are welcome and we'll do our best to answer them. If you follow these suggestions, your experience here at JavaRanch will be much better.
