Overiding Home Button Functionality

I was trying

if( keyCode == KeyEvent.KEYCODE_HOME){
    		startActivity(new Intent("com.rallybrothers.androidbeach.SecondActivity"));	
    	}
    	

But on Pressing "Home" key on emulator "Second Acticity" does not start , infact the "Home Scree" comes up . Please suggest !!!
