Hi ,
I'm relatively new to the web programming world and J2EE , EJB's are known to be complex , has anything been done in the book to simplify them for newbies?

Hi Vic,

Definitely Yes, I would say

But since it is more Practical/POC oriented, I would suggest read another book from various available books to get the thorough understanding of the theoretical concepts and go through related recipes in Cookbook.

Vic,

I agreed with Suhas. The book provides ready access to recipes that you may find useful. However, the book is not designed to address a lot of the theory behind EJBs.
