how to create a form underneath a text link ?

Some financial web site has a text link like "trade". When user clicks on it, there is a pop up form underneath the text. The pop up is a form asking you to enter quote symbol and target price, then you can click a "trade" buttom inside that pop up form. The form is immediately located adjacent to the link.

How to create such a pop up form underneath such text link ? Any example ?
