Ho do we select Interesting values for a test case?

Hi friends,
Right now i am doing dissertation... title is "Automatic Generation of Test cases with Junit Frame work rules". When the time of generating test cases how can we select valid/interesting values for the test case. Please give me your suggestions for this problem.

There are whole books written on this topic. In a nutshell, you need to identify classes of data that cover all the paths (and interesting business scenarios) and make sure you get all the boundaries as well.
You might also try I trial of Parasoft's JTest or the free CodePro solution to see what they generate.
