Hey Guys,
I have an issue involving multiple war files. When I make a change to the registry for a variable used in one ware the second war isn't picking it up... would it be possible to put a listener in the second war file so that when I change the registry it would see the change and pick up the new variable?
Thanks,

I'm sorry, I still don't understand. You're putting something in the Windows registry for a variable in a WAR file?
Actually I don't understand the concept of a variable in a WAR file. Perhaps you could step back a bit and tell us the context of this question.

How do you expect your code to work on *nix or MacOS if you put your variable in the registry?

Never ascribe to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.

Fred, it's possible that John is using the Preferences classes. But of course that's just a guess because we haven't been given any details at all yet.
