Is there any other servlet we can use other than ActionServlet in the struts framework?

Thanks in advance

Struts is based on the idea of a single controller servlet that then routes requests to classes that you've written. This means that ActionServlet is generally the only one you'll need in a Struts application.

The ActionServlet class is the only one provided by the Struts framework, but if you don't like something about the way it works, you always have the option of extending it with a subclass you've written yourself. However, most of the work in Struts is done by the RequestProcessor class, so it is more likely this class you'll end up extending.
