I seem to be having some issues with 'apache-tomcat-5.5.16'. It was fine all week but is sudennly gving me problems. I tried to start up the server by double clicking the file 'startup.bat'. Unlike in the past, this file dosen't run in it's entirety. The dos command screen dissaperars the moment it fires up. I did a test by running 'catalina run' from th folder in which the bat file is stored. I am getting an error 202: bind failed: Address already in use. The URL for the application I am running from this server is:
http://localhost:8082/.... I have not installed anything new ever since I started working with 'apache-tomcat-5.5.16'. I hope someone can advise me. Thanks.
