I am trying to figure how to enable hot -deployment of a simple jar (which contains a single
I have attempted to deploy to the common/deploy directory, but without success...
Is plain jar deployment even supported on JBoss? (some references say it is and some say it's not... a bit confused here).
Should the jar contain any jboss.xml or some other property file, besides the .class? I created the jar using my eclipse environment...
Thanks in advance for shedding light on this issue.

should be placed into an app (WAR, EAR, etc) or into common/lib or server/xxx/lib.
