Connection Problem

I have my Tomcat 7 installed on an XP machine -- it's a long story -- and everything works just fine on that machine.

When I try to invoke Tomcat from any of the other machines on my network (all Windows 7), the system goes into a lengthy wait and eventually times out with (Firefox) message: "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading".

I'm using the default port 8080.

Apache 2 server (port 80) works just fine on the same network.

What am I missing?

TIA

Did you try the same with other web browsers? And anything strange in the Tomcat logs?

tomcat7.stderr.log has many entries like this:
