Websphere - dynalically loading class files

I have deployed the application in exploded format in Websphere 6.1 (Dev environment). Whenever I do a code change, I am required to take a build and then deploy it into WAS before testing. Is there any way I can just replace the .class file into the websphere exploded directories and test the app without making a deployment or server restart?

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
