Jboss AS 6 OutOfMemory using JBoss Dev Studio 4

Hi everyone,

I am new to JBoss AS. While I'm working with small web app with JBoss Dev Studio 4 i run an errors that says
OutOfMemory.It happens around after 10-15 minutes after when i start the server..
Please help me.

There are numerous causes of OOMEs. Unfortunately, you didn't post the full error message so I can only guess what the issue might be. Also, you never said if it was Dev Studio or JBoss AS that was throwing the OOME.

I think that to debug this issue further you should exit Dev Studio and manually start JBoss AS and manually deploy your app to it. Then when you get the OOME, post the full exception stack trace.

Hi Peter,

I think the problem is not on JBoss 6. Its on Jboss Dev Studio.
I tried to work on a normal java program and after 1 hour i get the same error
of Out of memory. The error also says see .log files for more info..but when i look for the log file.
i can't find it.

The Developer Studio log file is at workspace/.metadata/.log.

There should be a .ini file (eclipse.ini?) in the Developer Studio directory. The heap size is set in there. You could try increasing that.
