Hi all,

I am new to the specs needed to be learned in SCWCD 6.

Are these the following specs:
Servlet 3.0
JSP 2.2
JSTL 1.2
EL 2.2

What do I need in order to achieve this setup in my workspace?
I am using Tomcat 7.

How will the form of JSP be?(e.g used in jsp:root)

Thanks and Regards,
Alex Sales

Alex Sales,

Yes you are starting with correct specs.

Important areas you need to study for "Oracle Certified Expert, Java Platform, Enterprise Edition 6 JavaServer Pages and Servlet Developer" certification.

=> Web Fragments (ordering, listeners,etc)
=> Asynchronous Servlet development
=> Creating servlet by annotations
=> Overriding annotated variables in web.xml
=> Creating filters by annotations
=> Configuring init parameters by annotations

Read more about at http://www.epractizelabs.com/blog2/?p=106 .

Good luck for your preparation !!

Thanks
