I am trying to take values from one html page to one jsp page.its showing Servlet action is currently unavailable .What may be the problem

Explain in brief with your small code.Servlet action will not be available till you mention the action to be carried in struts-config.Check it.

Thie message generally means one of two things:

  • You forgot to specify <load-on-startup> in your web.xml file for the Struts Action Servlet
  • The Struts Action Servlet is throwing an exception when it tries to initialize. Examine the System Out log for the app server when application first starts up to see if this is the case.
