Are there any performance monitoring tools in which i can monitor the heap size, execution speed, memory leaks of my java program at various execution stages ?

There are lots of tools. All have strengths and weaknesses. The jdk comes with visualvm and is a good one to start with for things like memory, object allocation and cpu.
