Hey,

java.util.Enumeration is an interface which allows you to generate a series of elements which you can then move through one by one. Check the javadocs for more infomation.

Also from the docs:

NOTE: The functionality of this interface is duplicated by the Iterator interface. In addition, Iterator adds an optional remove operation, and has shorter method names. New implementations should consider using Iterator in preference to Enumeration.
