@Nam Ha
Thanks… i think it's a good thing to go for 1.6 who is the new version. As you know, all the programming languages evolve.. the 1.6 added
- Annotation who makes the deployment descriptor optional for a web application by allowing to define servlet, filter, initParam,listener… directly in your servlet using annotation
- Pluggability and Extensibility who allows to easily include frameworks in your current web application without modifying the existing DD, and allows also to programmatically declare servlet,filter and their mapping url.
- Asynchonus for suspending and resuming request processing…
- And others features
The new exam will
test your knowledge on these new features (including the 1.5 topics).
As you are already 1.5 certified, pass this exam will just show that you are up to date.
here is a the link to oracle webiste about the exam :

@Alexander Sales
i think you have took the right decision to go for the EE6. when you'll be ready for the EE5, take time to through the new features on EE6 and take all the mocks exam you can on it.
i prepared the new features during 2weeks (around 10h per day), through some tutorials on internet, the servlet 3 spec, NullHaus blog and Enthuware.
The preparation is a little tough because you don't know what exactly is/isn't include on the exam, wich classes/method
you should know,etc… the good think with HF JSP&SERVLET is that they give you only what you need for the exam.
let's hope the will write a 3rd version of the book
All the best
