XML and Java Classes

Hi,
I know JAXB can generate XML to Java. Usually the XML represents instance data.

What if the XML does not represent instance data but represents actually Meta data. I know people will oh that should be your XSD.

But sometimes XSD is difficult to read. So let's say the Meta model for the domain model is defined in XML, what is the best way to generate that to Java classes?

Thanks.
