i want to add isEnabled() method to JTextField, i write a code



but it is giving message just after compilation of program instead when tRate is enabled

To get better help sooner, post a SSCCE (Short, Self Contained, Compilable and Executable) example that demonstrates the problem. Oh, and a clear description of what you expect to happen and what does happen,
