Hello,everyone at JavaRanch! I am a newer to Java and have read the book called"Thinking in Java".I want to develop desktop applications.But I don't know that I will do what next.

Do you know what technology you want to use for the desktop applications? I'm guessing Swing since that's the client side API.

Thanks for your reply.Swing is just enough?Or what else will I learn for development desktop applications like NetBeans and Eclipse?
