using nested properties for collection inside a collection

Hi ,
iam facing a problem related to Struts indexed properties.
i have a collection like

outer collection contains dept name and dept no and Collection of employees for that dept.
</b>

if i want to change the eployeename which is property in inside cllection , how can i do it.

i tried implementing the indexed propeties.
plz suggest me a solution ASAP
