JSF as a risk

Hi All

i have decide to use JSF in my solution can i put it as technical risk as i see some disadvantage in using JSF ?

That depends why you think it's a risk and why you rate it as more important than others. In my assignment I listed some assumptions about JSF but I couldn't see any massive disadvantages in using it above JSPs.

I would rather focus on architectural risks under heading like Performance, security, scalability, availability etc....if using JSFs would affect one of these, then I would mention the same under the respective headings, rather than highlighting "JSFs" as a risk...

Usually your choice of technology isn't the risk - it's some other factor. If you don't think JSF is the best technology for your problem, why choose it?
