Jar solution

Hi
when i make a jar file for my solution what should i do

1- put all files in a folder name it (scea-testingID) then archive this folder with required formate (scea-testingID)
2- or in the archive folder put all files without putting it a folder first

I think any approach should be fine...I took the first approach...submitted 4 weeks back...awaiting my results...
