Hi,

We currently want to generate a thread dump on our WAS 6.1. How do we do this? I tried searching the net and it said that we should use the Kill (pid) command. Is this the only way?

Thanks,
Andres

Yes "kill -3 <pid>" is a way to get the thread dump under UNIX systems. You should repeat the "kill -3" command after every 30 to 45 secs to get better understanding of the dump

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
