"punters"?

That means that com.anand.servlet is not in the web app's class path. Where did you put the class file for that class?

By the way, servlet is a really bad name for a class.

I meant experts referring to Punters.

In ECLIPSE, the package is com.anand.servlet located under Java Resources --> src --> com.anand.servlet --> SearchServlet.java and the JSP file is in WEBCONTENT --> WEB-INF --> Search.jsp

Hello,
It seems in web.xml while configuring servlet you might have given "com.anand.servlet" instead of "com.anand.servlet.SearchServlet".

Regards,
Amit
