Display tag pagination back button problem

I am using display tag to display result list in JSP. Result is displayed on different pages. I also have link in a column value, which navigates to detail page for that perticular record. On detail page I have a back button. If I click a link on page 5 and click back button to go page 5. It does not navigate me to page 5, instead it returns to page 1.
please help, how I can fix this issue?
