iPhone application POST request parameters issue

Hi Co-JavaRanchers,

Please help me out in understanding the parameters to a POST request to a web service.

In my assignment , a requirement is as follows:

request type: POST 
url: http://www.something.com/people.json
Parameters:
required:
    1. person[name]        ---Name of person
    2. person[details]       ---Details of person
optional:
    person[image_attributes][{IMAGE_NUMBER}][square]
	Full, umodified image. {IMAGE_NUMBER} is an integer between 0 and 10, should be the same as [circle] below.
    person[image_attributes][{IMAGE_NUMBER}][circle]
	Image cropped into a circle. {IMAGE_NUMBER} is an integer between 0 and 10, should be the same as [square] above.

From the above requirement I have understood first 2 required fields, but unable to understand the optional parameter i.e. image.
What should I need to send about the image?

Please help
