Hi folks

Java 1.7 was released within recent memory.

Does anyone have any idea about when they are going to drop the exam for Java 1.5 and start offering the 1.7 exam?

I'm in the middle of preparing for the 1.6 exam, but if 1.7 is going to be available when I'm done preparing I may have to consider taking it instead.

You should not waste your time to wait for 1.7 exam because no one knows about it.Once 1.6 is cleared then you can upgrade it with 1.7, so forget it right now.best of luck :

Also, consider waiting for Java 8 which is due for 2012.
