Am I too late for this reminder, but as long as this page is alive, I am hopeful of my book's arrival. Any ideas, if it is printed or is on the way or if I can get an e-copy. I am at December 9.

I mailed only once when my details were enquired by Javaranch staff. After that I had been waiting and refreshing the winners page.. Today when I saw the status that books are still in print, i was happy. By the way, meanwhile I am relocated, and I would like to re-update my details. What should I do to receive the same(in case it arrives, hope it does.)

they were printed sometime in 30 december 2008 (as stated in the book website).
Usually if you dont get it by 3 months or so, you can send a reminder to book promotion email and they will follow up with the publishers. Some one from the book promotion team will be able to help you

So I understand JavaRanch hasn't update the same on this page.

I am not frequent winner and I did not know that, and I had been just waiting for something to arrive. What can be done now and in what sequence, a wait or an email (from me to book promotion team or from book promotion team to the publishers), or an update about my relocation

I was hoping that someone from the Ranch team would reply here. But in any case you can send the mail to: bookpromotion AT javaranch DOT com with the updated address stating that you havent received the book yet. May be you can continue in the old mail chain- the one in which you had sent your old address and the book promo team had replied back confirming the receipt of your address.

i have nothing to do with our book promotions, but I wouldn't hold my breath on getting a book from a promotion run 3 years ago...

sorry!

To me it matters because it is the one and only book I have won at JavaRanch, and I mean JavaRanch.

sorry!

We didn't send the e-mail about intervals to follow up back in 2008. The status column is just a guide based on what people tell us. The time to follow up was two and half years ago. There's nothing we can do now. Sorry.
