Q1 )Now problem where to configure for JNDI?
Q2) JNDI and DBCP are different ?
Are they related?

Yes, I am also trying to work out how to configure DBCP (and JNDI if necessary). One problem is that the Struts 1.3 struts-config.xml doesn't seem to allow the <data-sources> element any more! There was a very simple explanation for how to use <data-sources> in the Wrox Struts book but it's no longer valid, I think. See:

<!DOCTYPE struts-config PUBLIC
"-//Apache Software Foundation//DTD Struts Configuration 1.3//EN"

<!DOCTYPE struts-config PUBLIC "-//Apache Software Foundation//DTD Struts Configuration 1.2//EN" "http://struts.apache.org/dtds/struts-config_1_2.dtd">

Does anyone know of a tutorial/explanation just to set up a simple database connection with Tomcat 5.5 and Struts 1.3.5 please?
