when i run the jsp file in tomcat 5.0 version this is error came can any one solve this problem..

It seems straightforward, that the table or the View that you are trying to access is not present in the Database.
Check against the DB to see if all required tables and Views are present there.

No sir, It is in database ..but its giving this error ..in my system i am using oracle10g express edition..

So who should I believe? The computer, or you? I believe the computer is right. You must have made some error.

However it's impossible for us to check that because we have no idea what table or view your code is looking for. Perhaps you don't know, either. At any rate, just saying "I'm right and the computer is wrong" is not going to solve your problem. You need to change your attitude.

I guess it might be a typing mistake..

Please compare the table names.. whether both of them are same or not!!
One more thing , there is one more possibility that the table exists in the database but may not be under same schema..
